Your First Class

To get started, create an account with us, and you'll then purchase your Intro to Pole Series or Pole Taster class. Once you book, you'll receive an email confirmation.

Step one - create an account

Step two - what to wear/what to bring

Attire — To fully enjoy your pole experience, please wear athletic pole/yoga shorts that are tight fitting and sufficiently cover private areas. We also sell some sweet Mika Yogawear at the studio, if you forget yours. We also have a bathroom if you need to change once you arrive at the studio.

Lotion — Please avoid applying lotions especially on the hands and legs when coming to the studio. Body balms and lotions do not always fully absorb into your skin. These will then adhere to our poles, making them dangerously slick for you and our other students. It's safe to avoid balms and lotions at least 24 hours before your scheduled class.

Bring — Water to stay hydrated.

step three - Arrive 15 minutes before your first class starts

Please come in 15 minutes before your first class so you can get acclimated to the studio, change (if you need to) and meet with your teacher to discuss any injuries or concerns.

Door Locks at class start time— While we understand there are a variety of reasons for being late that may be beyond your control, for security reasons, we must lock the door at class start time. We ask that all students respect this policy and do not try and enter class late

Pole Dancing is all about fun and freedom! The strength, flexibility and fluidity will all come with time and practice. In the meantime, enjoy the journey!

step four - have fun
